LateRooms.com reports travellers intrigued by Japanese culture may wish to book Paris hotels to attend the Japan Expo, which showcases all sorts of aspects of the country's culture and aims to educate as well as entertain.

Attendees can expect to find plenty of other people who are passionate about the art, music and fashion being produced in the Asian nation, with exhibitors offering a wide variety of items to peruse or purchase.

In addition to the shops selling Manga comic books, games and clothes, there will be live concerts, karaoke competitions and martial arts displays.

Anyone worried that the event is solely concerned with contemporary culture will be happy to hear that the more traditional aspects of Japanese life are also represented at the show.

"Japan Expo would be nothing without its prestigious guests. Mangaka, character designers, singers, directors, authors … Coming from Japan, France and other countries, they have the opportunity here to meet their public and other artists," explained the organisers.

The festival runs from July 1st to 4th at the Parc des Expositions Paris-Nord Villepinte and prices range from €9 (£7.45) to 14 for a single day ticket, while a three-day pass is €31 and a four-day pass is €35.

Visitors who buy their ticket in advance can enter the Japan Expo at 10:00 (local time), with those purchasing theirs on the day allowed in from 11:00.

For more information on this event visit the Japan Expo website or contact the venue on +33 (0) 1 48 63 30 30.

To make the most of the Japan Expo – you should consider booking your hotel Paris to avoid disappointment.
