“Focusing on Thai food was simple,” says Kattrina Taylor, one of the managing partners who is a fan of the simple-yet-complex flavors of the South Asian country. “Many of the ingredients used in Thai cooking are already found in Mexico, and we knew we wanted to present a fresh and innovative restaurant concept that would not fit the mould of traditional Mexican food.”

All-Day Breakfast—Fried eggs on spring onion potato cakes, eggs Benedict with steamed chaya
Thai specialties—Tender duck breast baked with tangerine & chili sauce, Fresh fish fillet, pan fried with oyster & mushroom sauce, King shrimp on a bed of soybean sprouts & cucumber with lime chili dressing
Beach cuisine—Mezzanine’s summer salad with watercress, avocado, caramelized onion & Roquefort, Blue crab salad tossed with avocado, endives & white wine vinaigrette, Chicken wrap with pesto-mayo, sun dried tomatoes, cheese & chaya.
Mezzanine’s restaurant is open daily from 8 a.m for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Dine on the outdoor stone terrace under the shade of enormous billowing sails with stunning views of the Caribbean, or in the indoor dining room under the gaze of a serene Buddha. Daily happy hour with ‘2 for 1’ margaritas is from 1 to 4 p.m., and when the sun goes down the candlelit mood is warm and intimate.
The LOVERS' PACKAGE gives guests a taste of Mezzanine with: three nights accommodation for two in ocean view suite, daily breakfast for two, in room relaxing massage for each person, bottle of Moet & Chandon champagne on arrival, one 3 course romantic dinner for two in secluded setup of choice (beach, terrace) and bottle of Conche y Toro Sauvignon Blanc.
Lovers’ package is $780 US dollars plus tax and is not available during Holiday Season. Add-on extra nights are available.
