HAWTHORNE, CA – September 23rd, 2005 – Symmetry Electronics, a leader in design-oriented electronics distribution, today announced the appointment of Ray Woo as President. Ray Woo’s appointment as President is part of a series of exciting changes aimed at helping Symmetry grow, expand and position itself as a force in the electronics industry.

Ray Woo is a electronics industry veteran whose 27-year career includes 13 years at Western Micro and 13 years at Memec Group. While at Memec, he was the co-founder and driving force behind Unique and Insight, two of the most successful design-oriented, limited line distributors in the industry.
