LateRooms.com - Movie fans get ready for Munich Film Festival

LateRooms.com highlights anticipation is growing among German cinema fans ahead of the 2010 Munich Film Festival, which begins next month.

Running from June 25th to July 3rd, the event will feature more than 250 feature films, documentaries, shorts and TV movies being screened in the Bavarian city.

"We'll be showing the cream of the crop," he commented.

Meanwhile, a section devoted to new Indian cinema has been added to the schedule for 2010, with Mr Strohl describing the particpating films as "sensational".

He commented: "Developments like this in cinema don't happen very often.

"These new Indian audiences want more than just escape and dance numbers. They want captivating entertainment with a realistic slant."

Tickets for the screenings range in price from €2.50 to €8 (£2.10 to £6.80) and will be available to book online from June 14th.

Filmfest München was established in 1983 and receives over 70,000 submissions each year.
