So you want to be the Midwest’s Top Model? Modeling Expo creates opportunities, builds careers for both models and photographers.

Southfield, Michigan, Saturday, October 8, 2005: The Holiday Inn of Southfield Michigan will be filled with some of the most attractive models in the Midwest region of the United States. This colossal event, held once-a-year has been the threshold to several long standing careers in modeling. The Expo opens its doors at 10 AM, and will run till 6 PM, with the fashion competition beginning at 11AM. The Midwest Models Expos’ goals are to help create networks, business connections, and help advance careers by providing useful information and a safe and secure place environment. Nowhere else in the Midwest region will you find a gathering of prospective talent, decision makers, and admirers assembled to help support each other in fashion and photography industry. The Midwest Models Expo is pleased to donate 10 percent of all proceeds to the American Cancer Society.
The show, produced by JMB Promotions, will consist of several events this year. "There will be a exhibit area, fashion competitions, swimwear, and more," states James Bryant, creator of the Midwest Models Expo. "Even just the mention of a fashion show draws models from all over the United States,” states James, "we have models coming from as far away as Texas and several from Canada. We have companies such as: One Model Place, MuseCube and Fashion Bug,” Bryant continues, "in our exhibit area to help support local talent along with allowing models to get a taste of the fashion scene.” He adds, “ This is also the perfect opportunity for companies to gain exposure, promote, and conduct sales to future clients or service existing customers."
Models can register for a chance to be selected to appear in a national calendar, or other great exposure opportunities.
We are confident that this years event that will be the ‘talk’ though-out the Midwest. The fashion competition will consist of models displaying their own outfits or ones’ provided by Fashion Bug. This is an excellent opportunity for young fashion designers to demonstrate their creativity, for make-up artists to show off their skills in hopes of future employment. This unique experience will accelerate many young models and photographers career.
To date, items donated as door prizes include such outstanding companies and individuals such as; Aaron Marcus, author of “How to Model”; renowned Photographer Erin Hession; Fashion Designs from Tia Lyn Lingerie; Steven Rosenberg of Classmate USA; and the worlds two larges modeling web sites, One Model Place and MuseCube.
