LateRooms.com can reveal that people booking Cotswolds hotels next month may find their visit to the region coincides with the Cirencester Beer Festival.Known to attract real ale lovers and people seeking an enjoyable day out in equal measure, the event is now in its fourth year and looking to build on previous successes.
Over 30 beers will be available for visitors to taste at the festival, which runs from Saturday May 29th to Monday May 31st at the Gloucestershire town's Royal Agricultural College.
Graham Smith, a member of the organising committee, said the event will again offer "a wide selection of beers, music and entertainment, [as] this combination has always worked extremely well".
He added that the committee has been "overwhelmed by the response" to the festival among local people in previous years.
Although the organisers are still finalising this year's list of featured beers, visitors can expect a satisfyingly diverse selection of ales from around the UK.
On bank holiday Monday (May 31st), the festival will team up with the Royal Agricultural College to host the institution's Food and Farming Fun Day.
Admission is free and the schedule will include a parachute display, farmers' market, pony rides, beekeeping demonstrations, clay pigeon shoots, live music and sumo wrestling.
