DirectRooms.com – Experience the Dublin City Soul Festival 27 to 30 May 2010

DirectRooms.com announces the Dublin City Soul Festival 2010, celebrating its fourth year and scheduled from May 27th to May 30th. The event features a variety of live music, cinema, comedy, as well as food and drink, not to mention the opportunity to rub shoulders with some of soul's international superstars.

The festival focuses on soul music from around the globe, and is one of the main reasons for participants around the world to book a Dublin hotel during May.

One of the highlights of the event is the Soul Picnic, which this year will take place on May 30th from noon in Merrion Square Park.

The event will feature a variety of local, national, and international soul performers, allowing friends and family members to gather together in the park in a picnic setting to enjoy a day of music, food and drinks. Considering admission is completely free, the overall goal is that everyone comes with one thing in mind: the love of music.

If the past few years are any indication, 2010 will draw larger crowds than before.

Dublin City Soul Festival 2010 is sponsored by Dublin City Council and a selection of local and national businesses, who all share a passion for soul music that transcends the international borders that separate so many countries.

The line-up and ticket availability for 2010's event will be released in April.
