Julius Few, MD, Joins Advisory Board of Consumer Guide to Plastic Surgery

Consumer Guide to Plastic Surgery is pleased to announce that Julius Few, MD, FACS, is the newest member of our Editorial Advisory Board. Dr. Few is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon in private practice at The Few Institute for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery in Chicago, IL. He is also a clinical associate professor in the division of plastic Surgery at the University of Chicago.He has lectured extensively on the subject of cosmetic facial surgery and safety. His research appears frequently in prestigious medical journals, and Dr. Few regularly appears on NBC, ABC, CBS, and CNN. Dr. Few was included in Crain's Chicago Business "Top Forty under 40" for his work in plastic surgery development in 2002.
Dr. Few is a member of many professional organizations including the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Medical Association and the American College of Surgeons. In addition, he is also a member of the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the International Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and is the immediate past president of the Illinois Society of Plastic Surgeons.
He received his medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. Dr. Few then completed his residency in general surgery at the University of Michigan Medical Center, followed by plastic surgery training at Northwestern University. In addition, Dr. Few also received special facial and eye cosmetic training in Honolulu, New York, and Atlanta.
