Darrick E. Antell, MD, Joins Advisory Board of Consumer Guide to Plastic Surgery

Consumer Guide to Plastic Surgery is pleased to announce that Darrick E. Antell, MD, DMD, FACS, has joined its Editorial Advisory Board. Dr. Antell is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon in private practice in New York City. An assistant clinical professor of surgery at Columbia University Dr. Antell is also well-known for his research on aging in identical twins. He is an official spokesperson for the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the world's largest plastic surgery organization, and the Skin Cancer Foundation. Dr. Antell's outstanding surgical record has been recognized by several medical societies, including the Medical Society of the State of New York, which awarded him its prestigious President's Citizenship Award.
In addition, Dr. Antell has been named one of New York's best doctors numerous times by New York Magazine. He has been selected as one of the top cosmetic surgeons in America by Town & Country magazine and has been included in the best doctors list of Vogue.
Dr. Antell has also been recognized in the Marquis Who's Who directories, which honor top professionals in a variety of industries.
A graduate of Hobart and William Smith College in Geneva, New York, Dr. Antell went on to earn his medical degree at the University of Toledo Medical Center. He continued his education at Stanford University Medical Center, where he performed both his internship and surgical residency. Dr. Antell also completed a plastic surgery residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City. Additionally, he earned a Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.
