First PbeM game Showcased On Yahoo From Struggle Games
Simpson, IL (USA) — A new PbeM (Global Struggle), has been released by Strugglegames.com, an Illinois company.
"It's depth makes it successful" said Ron McBride, Struggle Games CEO, "because it brings together some of the most important aspects of running a nation."
”There are no images imbedded in the game”, McBride said. "We wanted to tell the story of ‘what if the world followed the example of the USA after 1776’ (player created history beginning in 1800), but in a way that would appeal to people new to the Internet PbeM gaming world, as well as to experienced online players."
The maps and support materials in Struggle Games’ new game have historical significance too, explained McBride. "Using Excel spreadsheets for the turn based game, we can simulate all aspects of government operations from economic to military."
The game can be viewed and played from http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/IFN web site also at http://strugglegames.com, both provides detailed information about the game.
The Company’s first game The Order of Power 2000 was released in 1999.
Strugglegames.com is a Simpson IL area game company specializing in Email and Board games. The company's "Battle Cell" board games, are sold from the website and on Ebay.
