New green logo for established “green” translation company

Internet language services provider Lingo24 has simultaneously launched a new corporate identity and refurbished the popular website where many of their clients already order and pay for translations online. The choice of colour for Lingo24’s new streamline logo is no coincidence, since the company has always prided itself on being thoroughly “green”. Indeed all 26 employees are home-based, with transport kept to a minimum and energy efficiency and recycling of paper, cartridges etc. being key components of the company’s comprehensive environmental policy.

Lingo24 M.D. Christian Arno is delighted with the fresh new look, which he feels encapsulates the ethos of this young, happening company. “Lingo24 is about making language services readily accessible to busy professionals who want quality, reliability and transparency,” he says. “We are a highly innovative company, using state-of-the-art technology to ensure the highest quality of our translation and localisation services.”

Yet although the new identity reveals Lingo24 to be undeniably modern in its outlook, at the same time the company places great emphasis on good, old-fashioned values such as quality of service and outstanding customer care. Operations director Jack Waley-Cohen is quick to point out: “For those who are less confident about placing their first order online, or who wish to discuss a particular aspect of a project, our customer care team is always happy to receive calls.” When asked how Lingo24 is able to deliver such consistently high quality, he explains: “Before starting work on a project, we carry out thorough research to ensure that we glean all the necessary information regarding style, terminology and layout. This background information is essential to ensure the quality of the end product.” He continues: “Every translation is worked on by at least two professional linguists, both native speakers with in-depth experience of the relevant field.”

As the many visitors to www.lingo24.com will testify, the website is extremely user-friendly, combining a relaxed informal feel with a highly professional approach. In addition to the intuitive online quoting and ordering system, there’s a wealth of useful advice and information about translation and localization issues targeted at a wide range of clients ranging from specialist legal firms through to blue chip multinationals. No doubt this is just one of the reasons that the Lingo24 website is currently short-listed for the Telegraph/Sage Best Business Website Award.
