Disney on Ice arrives in Bangkok - AsiaRooms.com

Breaking the news AsiaRooms.com reveals that people looking for family entertainment during a stay in Bangkok will be pleased to know that Disney on Ice is coming to the Thai capital next month.

Taking place at the Impact Arena in the Muang Thong Thani district, the show will run from Friday March 26th to Wednesday March 31st and is sure to a hit with local people and visitors alike.

Western travellers using accommodation in Bangkok are advised to book tickets in advance as there will be only one show in English, scheduled for March 27th.

The Impact Arena contains a 12,000-seater concert hall that has previously staged performances from the likes of Kylie Minogue, Mariah Carey, Eric Clapton and Elton John.

Other features of Impact include the Royal Jubilee Ballroom, a spectacular 3,500 sq m venue which can accommodate up to 2,500 people for banquet-style events.

Muang Thong Thani is a suburb of the city located about 40 kilometres from the central business district, so those booking accommodation in Siam Square or other areas of Bangkok may like to plan their journeys before heading out to enjoy Disney on Ice.

Visitors are advised to arrange their own transport to and from the venue, as the queue for taxis is known to be quite long after performances.
