Gary Alex, DMD, Appointed to Advisory Board of Consumer Guide to Dentistry

Gary Alex, DMD, of Huntington, N.Y., has been appointed to the Advisory Board of Consumer Guide to Dentistry, a leading provider of online education about dentistry and oral health.

An accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) and past president of the AACD New York Chapter, Dr. Alex is the reviewer of several articles featured in the tooth restoration section of Consumer Guide to Dentistry, covering topics that include dental fillings and dental bridges. He is featured as a top Long Island cosmetic dentist in the Consumer Guide to Dentistry Dentist Directory, and examples of his work are featured in the Cosmetic Dentistry Before and After Photo Gallery.

Dr. Alex earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tufts University Dental School in 1981. He is a consultant for numerous dental manufacturers, a member of the International Association of Dental Research (IADR), and has written and published numerous scientific articles and papers. Dr. Alex maintains a practice geared toward comprehensive prosthetic and cosmetic dentistry, teaches on a regular basis and has participated in thousands of hours of continuing dental education.
