LateRooms.com can announce that a film festival with a difference could provide entertainment for anyone staying at hotels in Munich next spring. When people have seen the usual sights and landmarks of the city, relaxing at the cinema and enjoying a movie could be the perfect way to unwind.
Instead of the usual Hollywood blockbusters, the Verzaubert International Queer Film Festival brings gay and lesbian productions to a wider audience.
First established in 1991, the films screened at the festival are of varying lengths and span a range of genres.
It aims to "reflect the changing dynamic of issues related to love and gender identity", What's on When notes, and may give visitors the chance to see a piece of cinema they would ordinarily miss out on.
Furthermore, members of the audience have the chance to vote on some of their favourite screenings, with categories such as best feature film and best short film.
The event takes in four German cities, Frankfurt, Cologne, Berlin and Munich - where the films will be shown at the Atelier Cinema.
Commenting on the Verzaubert International Queer Film Festival, Jessica Reading, head of marketing for LateRooms, said: "We strongly urge people thinking of going to the Verzaubert International Queer Film Festival and who need hotel Munchen to book early to avoid disappointment"
While they are waiting to catch a film at the festival, people staying in Munich are unlikely to find themselves short of entertainment, as footballer Mario Gomez recently described it as a "fabulous city" and said that "the folk here are very relaxed".
