EMMBOOK RELEASES "ON THE GO" BABY BOOK FOR THE IPHONE AND IPOD TOUCH

Emmbook today announces the availability of Emmbook for Baby, a new application for the iPhone and iPod touch that gives new parents a convenient way to capture, organize and share photos and memories of important activities, events, milestones and people in their baby's life.

Emmbook for Baby is the first iPhone app that helps parents conveniently organize their baby's photos and memories into a digital baby book. Entries can quickly be added for Family & Friends, Gifts, Firsts, Favorites and Events, making it easy to keep up with the often daunting task of organizing baby photos into a scrapbook. The app also gives time-pressed parents a handy way to keep track of thank you notes for baby's gifts.

"After the recent birth of our daughter we had a new appreciation for the baby books that our parents lovingly made for us. As we began to think about creating a keepsake for our daughter we realized that the immediacy and convenience of the iPhone make it the perfect device for creating a baby book," said Chris McBride, co-creator or Emmbook for Baby.

Emmbook for Baby also makes keeping track of important day-to-day activities a snap. Using the app's easy to use Diary section, parents can record baby's measurements, feedings, diaper changes, sleeping and immunizations. Using the Diary, new parents can record important activities in one convenient place as they happen, rather than using loose scraps of paper or trying to remember how much baby ate or when her last immunization was.

"As new parents it's extremely important to us that we keep an accurate record of our daughter's doctor visits, when and how much she eats and if she's getting enough sleep. Using Emmbook for Baby on our iPhone to record these things means we worry a lot less." said co-creator Jennifer Usdan McBride.

Enjoying all of baby's photos and notes is a breeze using Emmbook for Baby's 'view' mode. By tapping the "View Book" tab parents can see all of their baby's photos by simply swiping a finger across the screen or turning on the automated slideshow. Sharing a baby book with friends and family has never been so easy or so much fun!
