LateRooms.com - 'Sensational' New Year's Eve party in Düsseldorf

LateRooms.com can announce that the German city of Düsseldorf may get overlooked in favour of some of its bigger neighbours for New Year's Eve celebrations, but visitors could find a hidden gem in the Sensation NYE party.

For the third year, Düsseldorf will host its Sensation Germany NYE 2009 at the LTU Arena on December 31st.

Celebrations will kick off at 20:00 local time and people staying in Düsseldorf hotels will not need to return to them until the early hours of New Year's Day.

Sensation is described as "one of the most spectacular dance and music phenomenons in the world", with the show touring to countries such as Australia and Brazil.

The eight-hour long event features globally-recognised DJs on the decks, accompanied by acrobats, actors, stage shows and fireworks.

In 2008, more than 30,000 clubbers saw in the new year in Düsseldorf and this year's spectacle is expected to be even more popular.

Tickets for the event start from €69 (£62.40) and offer access to the main room as well as a chill-out area where food and drinks are available.

Deluxe options are also available for those with a bit more cash to splash this year.
