Manzanillo luxury all-inclusive debuts new interactive website

MANZANILLO, Mexico (Sept. 8, 2005) – Manzanillo’s leading all-inclusive resort, Karmina Palace has launched a new website with a sleek design and easy-to-follow navigation to help vacationers and travel agents find the information they need fast.The new website centralizes many of the resorts different areas and functions into one usable interface, with logins for travel agents, vacation club timeshare owners, and guests who want to join the Karmina club to receive news updates and special promotions mailed directly to their inbox.
Fresh, new photography showcases the resort’s three restaurants, 425-foot private beach cove, night shows and plenty of families, couples and kids having the time of their lives. Additional pages include loads of extra information on Manzanillo and the surrounding area, offsite tours and activities, travel details and even real estate investment opportunities. Links to suite accommodations and elements of the all-inclusive program feature prominently.
“People are very internet savvy these days and we wanted to give them a comprehensive site that they could use in their vacation search and as a resource on Manzanillo in general,” says General Manager Marcos Casillas. “Gone are the days when people book their holiday straight through their travel agent without doing additional research. Our goal was to answer the questions people have before they have to ask them.”
Karmina’s new site also showcases a special kid-friendly design on the Kids Club section with cartoon fish that float across the page and reflect the fun atmosphere of the resort's special treatment and activities for children ages four to 12 years.
The relaunched website is the latest in the many improvements and upgrades Karmina has implemented within the last few months. Just last month, it unveiled new suite décor and Queen sized mattresses with back support in all 324 suites. The resort also introduced two new restaurant concepts – the a la carte La Trattoria Italian bistro and a beachside Taco Bar – that bring yet more variety to the three restaurants, 24-hour room service and five bars. A digital photo center provides guests with the chance to purchase snapshots taken around the resort by staff, and also aids in camera issues such as downloading full memory sticks to CDs. And the newest service is an upscale clothing boutique with resort casual clothes, scarves, jewelry and other accessories that just opened along the storefront area inside the lower lobby of the hotel.
