O Diamond Makes a Splash in the Caribbean
October 18, 2009 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
Diamonds International has released a new patented round cut diamond featuring 162 facets, which are 104 more than a standard round brilliant cut. The beautifully crafted stone, called the "O Diamond", is quickly becoming a hot commodity among the jet-set crowd in the Caribbean and abroad. According to Morris Gad, President of Diamonds International, "The stones' almost instantaneous popularity in the islands has necessitated the company's move to offer it online. We started getting a number of inquiries almost immediately after it hit our stores, and interest is definitely growing with each passing month."
Part of the reason for the O Diamond's popularity likely stems from its design, which was, according to Diamonds International, conceived in an effort to maximize light return and provide unparalleled scintillation, fire and brilliance.
