CommFort 1.12: A Flawless Network Communication Utility that Lives Up to Its Name
After a year of beta tests and meticulous enhancements, CommFort Software Company is proud to unveil its newest product – CommFort 1.12. This application serves as a real time network communication utility that provides users with the virtual meeting place to talk with their relatives, share ideas with friends or discuss business projects with the team of coworkers. While offering all much-requested features such as channels-based chat, user profiles, file transfer, sound alerts and logging, CommFort also delivers the unique ability to transfer folders, leave messages on the server and get them delivered later when the recipient goes online.
“We have gone a long way to develop a nearly flawless product with a handful of benefits for our customers,” says Maxim Mirgorodsky, author of CommFort. “It took us a year and 60 beta versions before this official release. And we hope that we successfully addressed the remarks and comments of testers and experts in making CommFort live up to its name. Today it has become a precision engineered tool with the clear interface, convenient navigation and stable performance that has no effect on computer productivity. We believe this utility will appeal to customers who need a reliable communication solution for their home or corporate network.”
CommFort has a classic user interface with the chat window, the list of users and the message entry bar at the bottom. This uncomplicated design minimizes the learning curve and makes CommFort easy and convenient in use. For more comfort you can configure its settings to make the program look and behave based on your individual preferences. You can customize it to show emoticons, images and calendar; sort the list of chat users; enable different sound alerts and log general, private channels and messages as well. With user profiles, you can set a name, color, pictogram for different users as well as a set of response patterns to their messages, for example, “Ignore importance flag in the message”, “Ignore the message” and several others.
Unlike other communication utilities, CommFort employs a server-client architecture that lets you, for example, enjoy such a distinctive feature as getting messages stored on the dedicated server and delivered to recipients when they enter the chat. Other important changes include a radically enhanced program performance, file and folder transfer and the ability to paste images right to the chat window. Also unique to CommFort is a convenient system to view user information, such as user idle time and the title of an active window from the server. On top of all this, CommFort has a multilingual support in English, German, Italian and Russian.
