Recently, Why Laboratories has announced its new research. It is purposed to reveal the strengths and weaknesses of today’s global anti-fraud activity. The special questionnaire has been developed covering the most important issues of online security provision. “The major part of the research is the survey of experts and other online players involved into the anti-fraud activity,” WhyLabs Chief Manager Dennis Drausset explains. “They will answer our questions and we will then make a profound analysis.”The questionnaire was worked out by WhyLabs’ specialists, and its purpose is to show the general anti-fraud environment. It is intended to determine the basic problems in online fraud detection process and estimate the level of merchants’ protectiveness and knowledge about online security. Basing on the research results WhyLabs’ scientists will provide important figures and facts concerning the revealed problems and work out an advice list for online merchants. It will include the tips on how to make their payments more protected and decrease the level of chargebacks significantly, and what anti-fraud tools are the most effective today. The results will be published on Why Laboratories website and some media resources, and mailed to the participants.
The researchers encourage online merchants to assist the survey conduction. “We invite anti-fraud experts and online players concerned with online fraud problem to take part in the survey. We believe that the results will be useful for the whole online community and it is the good reason to contribute. In addition, everyone who fills our questionnaire will be benefited. We will make individual estimations of every participant’s questionnaire form including his or her anti-fraud system’s strengths and weaknesses and advice on how to improve security, and send the personal results via mail or e-mail,” Drausett says.
There are two forms of questionnaires: a Brief one which consists of ten questions and will provide more general results and a Basic form which contains thirty more specific questions and will result in more profound analysis. Every participant has a chance to choose one of the two.
The research is planned to last for about a month. All this time the questionnaire will stay available at http://www.whylabs.com/questdetails.html.
