Pittsburgh, PA - September 3, 2009 - Attorney Phillip P. DiLucente of DiLucente & Tetlow, LLC is offering criminal defense services to national and international Pittsburgh G20 Summit attendees who may incur citations ranging from failure to disperse and disorderly conduct to causing a riot and public intoxication. Pittsburgh is hosting the Group of Twenty (G-20) whose mission is to promote global economic stability and growth. The G-20 Summit brings together twenty industrialized and developing economies from Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, European Union, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, Turkey, United Kingdom and United States of America to discuss key issues in the global economy.
The Pittsburgh G20 Summit will also bring people from around the world to Pittsburgh who disagree with the G20. While the many of past G20 protests have been peaceful, some G20 protests have gotten violent. The city of Pittsburgh has asked for 4,000 police officers from across the country to help with security, crowd control, demonstrations and protests during the Summit on September 24th and 25th.
According to attorney DiLucente, "The energy from a large crowd of passionate people can quickly get out of control; people tend to get caught up in the moment and do and say things they would not normally do and this can lead to criminal charges."
