Caswell Vlachos Group Announces Acquisition of New England Lumber, New England Door Supply, New England Drywall Supply, and New England Capitol Wood

The companies of New England Lumber, New England Drywall Supply, New England Door Supply, and New England Capitol Wood Floor Supply have been acquired by Hampden Holdings, Inc.

The acquisition was facilitated by the business brokerage firm of Caswell Vlachos Group LLC, with headquarters in Portland, Maine. The firm provides exit strategies for business owners throughout New England, specializing in the successful sale of businesses to qualified individuals, corporations, or private equity investors. "We were retained to facilitate a sale of the operating companies and acted as advisors to the transaction," commented Stephen Vlachos, principal of Caswell Vlachos Group.

The 26-year-old operating companies supply doors, windows, lumber, and drywall materials to building contractors. The Boston-based firm employs 65. "Without the swift action of Steve Vlachos and Greg Caswell to bring several potential acquirers to the table, this transaction would not have occurred.
