Trois-Rivieres, Quebec – The Narconon drug rehab program has a purpose of helping people overcome drug addiction so that they can achieve lifelong sobriety. In 2006, there was a graduate that did just that. He was able to take 12 years of destruction, pain, and anguish, and turn it all around while attending the Narconon drug rehab program. David gave himself the abilities needed to beat addiction, and move forward with his life. David said in his story: "Three years ago I did the Narconon program after 12 years of addiction to alcohol and other drugs. As a native from the Wendat of Wendake, a reservation near Quebec City, the other programs were not reaching me. The other programs I was looking into were using different drugs to treat addiction, which always scared me. When I looked at the Narconon programs 100% natural approach, I said to myself, this is the program I want to do. And I did, its not easy to leave old habits, but I did, and today I am so happy. I feel so great and more of myself. Thing are changing not only for me, but also for other people around me. The reservation is not the same, either because I have been putting more time in to upgrading the area. By investing your time to help yourself at Narconon, it is the best choice you can make. I did and I have no regrets at all; my life changed forever and I wish you the same. Our people need it desperately; do the move and bring the great turtle alive. Onha Ataro, see you soon my friends."
There are many graduates like David who have similar stories of beating addiction. Just as the Narconon founder, William Benitez did over 40 years ago, while creating the Narconon program; David accomplished his own success, and wants everybody battling drug addiction to experience the same thing.
