June 05, 2009 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
Ann Arbor, MI – As the Stanley Cup finals draw to a conclusion, Underground Printing is readying its presses to produce Detroit Red Wings Championship apparel immediately following the conclusion of the final game. Should the Red Wings capture the title for the second straight season, Stanley Cup Championship shirts will be in high demand, and Underground Printing will be printing through the night to supply stores in Southeast Michigan and beyond.Reebok has contracted Underground Printing again this year for their hot market NHL apparel, with 25,000 prints ready to be run and distributed within hours of the final horn to regions all around the country. UGP has been one of a handful of printers Reebok uses for its speed-to-stores apparel following major sporting events, including the NBA finals since 2003, the last four Superbowls, and last year's Stanley Cup Finals.
With four Michigan locations and one Pittsburgh location, the company isn't choosing sides just yet, but a friendly rivalry amongst co-workers has emerged as the series draws to a conclusion. UGP co-owner Ryan Gregg is thrilled to be a part of the action again. "We're always excited to be a part of these events. We're just waiting for the series to wrap up. A win for either side is great for the local communities that we are a part of with our stores. If we get the chance to print championship apparel as well, that's all the better."
Underground Printing will be opening its doors to the press during the hot market printing period. If you are interested in filming footage of the event, producing a news story, or have further questions, please Underground Printing.
