AXIOMTEK’S NEW FANLESS SBC846A1 IS LOADED WITH FEATURES TO FIT ANY MARKET

Available in a choice of configurations and options, the SBC offers developers a reliable platform to build on with the added benefit of being able to realize faster times to market.

The SBC846A1 is a low power and fanless board with a VIA CLE266 + VT8237 chipset and VIA Eden processor speeds of either 1GHZ or 667MHz. Available with up to 512MB of SODIMM system memory, the board supports Dual View CRT and LVDS (Low Voltage Differential Signaling) displays, with optional Dual LVDS LCD mode, making it an ideal solution for gaming or entertainment applications.

The SBC also features four USB 2.0 ports, dual 10/100 Base-T Fast Ethernet ports, a CompactFlash Type-II socket, and an AC’97 Audio codec for incredible sound. Easy expansion is available thru the Mini PCI Type-III socket, and hard drives and other peripherals are easily added by the SATA-150 and PATA-133 support.

As a pre-configured and tested computing platform, developers are able to focus on their core capabilities in software development and product design without the burden of designing and prototyping their own platform. Consequently, the SBC846A1 reduces product development costs and becomes a highly attractive solution.

The SBC846A1 can also be placed in pre-configured embedded enclosures to serve as an all-in-one solution. These embedded microbox enclosures come with 43W, 60W, or 70W power supplies.
