InPro Insurance Group, a leading insurance provider, is gearing up for its annual Blood Drive and Fun Fair to be held June 16th from 7am to 7pm at Barnard Elementary School in Troy, MI. One of the biggest charity events organized by InPro, the Blood Drive and Fun Fair brings businesses and residents together for the greater good of the community. It is expected to collect over 200 pints of blood this year.Since inception, InPro Insurance has actively undertaken a number of community services to raise funds for charities and community events. Every year, the company participates in various charity events such as the March of Dimes Walk, Breast Cancer events, and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Ride for a Cure. InPro also collects money for a different charity each quarter by holding Blue Jean Fridays and in-office snack sales.
Along with bringing people together to donate blood for the American Red Cross, the drive has also featured organ and bone marrow donor registries and the Gift of Life Organ Donor Registry. InPro sees this one-day event as a combination of community service and fun galore, with exciting activities like children's bucket rides (courtesy of the Troy Fire Department), magic shows, games, face painting, balloon animals, Moonwalk for kids, DJ music, and much more. One of the most special features of this event is that local businesses participate by donating money, services, food, snacks, and beverages to all blood donors.
