New version of advanced logging tool for .NET, Java and Delphi released

PADERBORN, Germany - Gurock Software, a German startup specialized in software development tools, announces the release of the new SmartInspect version 1.1. SmartInspect is an advanced logging tool for debugging and monitoring .NET, Java and Delphi applications. The new version of SmartInspect includes many changes to increase the productivity of software developers, testers and support engineers.

Log files created with one of the native SmartInspect libraries can now be accessed while in use. This enables users to open or copy log files without interrupting mission-critical software applications. This makes SmartInspect attractive even for high-availability environments. Another new feature is the Reset Callstack functionality. This feature allows users to reset the callstack of a log at any point to correct the method hierarchy in case of a logged error.
