Soap Stars Get Dirty at Bedlam

The cast and crew of River City put aside their stylists and make–up artists to don the Black Bedlam Jumpsuits and partake in an adrenalin pumping game of Paintball recently at Bedlams newest site, located just off the Stepps Bypass near Kirkintilloch.

The stars of the popular Scottish TV series on the BBC, including Carmen Piericcini who plays Kelly Marie Adams and Sam Heughan who plays her on screen love interest Andrew Murray, let their hair down for the day as they navigated their way through various missions laid on for them by the Bedlam Team. The soap actors left behind the comforts of the studio to spend the day crawling through the undergrowth and climbing Comms Towers, while working their way through scenarios such as ‘Basecamp Bedlam’.

Bedlam Site Manager James Tanner said “ the cast and crew were great fun, and a cracking day was had by all, they would be welcome back anytime”

Of course they are not the first celebrities to grace the undergrowth of Bedlam, they are in the company of such others as, The entire Cast of Miss Saigon, The South African Rugby Team and HRH Prince William of Wales.
