MV Transportation, Inc. retains $90 million contract in Santa Clara County

A review team for Outreach and Escort, Inc. has again selected MV Transportation, Inc. to manage and operate the ADA Paratransit, Non-ADA Services and Community Transportation Services in Santa Clara County – a system that MV has operated since 2007. Under the terms of the five-year, plus five-year option contract, MV will provide 660,000 trips annually through a fleet of more than 260 vehicles – including hybrids, sedans, and raised roof vans. MV will be responsible for overall operations and vehicle maintenance for the new contract term beginning on July 1.

Over the past two years, MV worked with Outreach to improve staffing and vehicle operator recruitment, to increase operator training tools, and to enhance the interview process. The company's dedication to improving the Outreach services led to an improved safety rating, and an increase in customer satisfaction.. Moving into the next contract term, MV will focus on the company's ability to strengthen the vehicle operator team through a strong local management team and dedicated regional support personnel, present at the location daily.
