EL AL Airlines announces up to 35% Winter Savings on Flights to Israel

Tel Aviv, Israel – February 27, 2009 – EL AL, Israel's national airline specializing in flights to Israel has released new winter and spring routes and flight costs, many tickets to Israel can now be purchased with incredible savings of up to 35%. The new prices fares will result in lower cost travel for passengers planning a trip to Israel in the coming months.

EL AL passengers flying to Israel on either Economy or Business Classes and are departing on flights originating from New York (JFK/Newark) will pay $633 (economy class) and $3,199 (business class) for a roundtrip ticket. Los Angeles flights can be purchased at massive discounted price of $949 (economy class) $3,599 (business class).

With this El Al / American Airlines code share agreement, passengers from and additional 22 cities across the USA can fly American Airlines to connect with the nonstop EL AL flight to / from Israel. Additional benefits for travelers include a free stopover in a range of European cities and automatic luggage transfer. All passengers flying via the code share are also able to collect EL AL Matmid frequent flyer points.

Winter flights in economy class from Boston, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Miami and Washington, D.C. are $839 for each roundtrip ticket before March 31st 2009. From Cleveland, Dallas/Ft Worth, Denver, Indianapolis, Orlando, Raleigh-Durham, St. Louis and Tampa the roundtrip fare is $939.
