Long standing flaw in Microsoft Windows Server Backup finally overcome, Now Exchange 2007 aware thanks to BackupAssist

Melbourne, Australia, February 19, 2009 - In a World's first, Melbourne based company Cortex I.T. Labs Pty Ltd has introduced a solution that makes the in-built backup program in Windows Server 2008 capable of backing up Exchange Server 2007.BackupAssist, the company's flagship product, now features a plug-in that makes Windows Server Backup able to properly back up Exchange Server 2007. This capability was omitted from the native operating system, leaving thousands of system administrators unable to back up their Exchange Server without expensive 3rd party solutions.
