NEW LOW COST SOFTWARE MAKES PERFORMANCE ANIMATION AND DIGITAL PUPPETRY ACCESSIBLE TO ENTREPRENEURS

MANILA, Philippines – Software developer Animocap.com (www.animocap.com) has announced the release of PerfAnim-Pro, their flagship performance animation and digital puppetry software package. It allows anyone with a basic knowledge of computers and animation and graphics to do performance animation.

Performance animation or digital puppetry as it is also called is just a new form of puppetry. In traditional puppetry you would use strings or sticks to control puppets made of wood or cloth over a cardboard or wooden stage. In performance animation, the controls are the computer’s keyboard and mouse, the puppets are 3 dimensional computer generated images and the stage is a video projection screen or a wide screen tv.
