Fullscope Announces Process Industries for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009

COPENHAGEN/CONVERGENCE EMEA (November 20, 2008) Today at Convergence EMEA 2009, Fullscope, a Gold Certified Microsoft Business Solutions Partner, announced the availability of Process Industries for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009. Developed by Fullscope as part of the Microsoft Dynamics AX Industry Solutions program, the latest Process Industries release is compliant with the recently announced Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009, a comprehensive business management solution for mid-sized and larger organizations that works like and with familiar Microsoft software to deliver a complete enterprise resource planning (ERP) package to automate and streamline processes across a company's financials, customer relationships, business services, human resources and the supply chain. Process Industries for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 has two modules, Process Manufacturing and Process Distribution, which are fully integrated to standard Microsoft Dynamics AX and are sold via the Microsoft price list by authorized resellers. The modules are designed to help food and beverage, pharmaceutical, life science, nondurable consumer goods, pulp and paper, and primary metals companies address challenges specific to process operations. Key new functionality in this release includes:
• Commodity pricing;
• Master planning with expiry dates;
• Material regulatory compliance;
• Rework orders;
• Approved vendor list;
• Same lot batch reservation;
• Batch order splitting;
• Creation of batch orders from SOL;
• Hybrid formula calculation;
• Formula calculation and batch order; costing revision;
• Report-as-finished for co-products;
• Multi-site support;
• Catch weight support for request for quote and return orders.
Fullscope first released Process Industries in late 2005, and is an original member of Microsoft's initiative to use key partners to provide industry-specific functionality to an already-strong core ERP solution. There are approximately 10,000 concurrent Process Industries users worldwide.

Earlier this year Fullscope announced The Hempel Group A/S as its first new Process Industries for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 customer in Europe. The initial Hempel project consists of 250 clients on Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009, with plans to rollout 1,000 clients. In October Fullscope sold the first US version of its new release to a Wisconsin-based pharmaceutical company.
