In His New Book "Beyond Einstein", Lenard Metzger Claims Einstein was Wrong

In his new book "Beyond Einstein", Lenard Metzger, points out what he considers to be some erroneous assumptions in the theories of relativity. This allowed him to go beyond these theories in presenting a non - relativistic, unified theory of gravitation and electro-magnetism.

This allowed him to go beyond these theories in his book entitled "Beyond Einstein". Mr. Metzger presents a non - relativistic, unified theory of gravitation and electro-magnetism. He suggests that what influences the motion of both matter and photons of light are their interactions with particles having a velocity slightly greater than light. These super-luminal particles (possibly neutrons) fill the universe, having been produced by the Big Bang. They pass through matter from all directions with some transferring momentum to atoms. These particles probably are what are called dark matter and constitute most of the mass of the Universe.

A large body, such as the Earth, will deflect some of the particles coming through it. Objects above the surface of the Earth will have fewer particles passing through them from below than particles coming from above. This imbalance will tend to push the objects down and give them weight. This is how gravity works.

These particles, when approaching photons from the rear, will accelerate the photons to their characteristic velocity, regardless of the velocity of the photon source. Other particles, approaching photons from the front, will tend to slow the photons, causing them to oscillate around the speed of light.

If a vehicle were to accelerate to a velocity that approached the speed of light, the effective momentum of the particles tending to propel it, by impacting from the rear, would go to zero. The particles retarding it, by impacting from the front, would have their effective momentum become twice as large as that, which occurs at low vehicle velocities. It would take a very large thrust to maintain this velocity and even more thrust for the body to exceed the speed of light. A possible way for this to be accomplished is described.

In addition to discussing his doubts about the theories of relativity, Mr. Metzger presents new ideas about the structure of atoms and the emission of photons. Also described is the possible part played by these super-luminal particles in the formation of black holes, the Big Bang and the expanding Universe.
