Automated Shredding hires new Sales Manager

Automated Shredding is proud to announce the hiring of their new Sales Manager, Melissa Walker-Price. Price is a Fort Mill native with more than 20 years sales experience in the York County community. A graduate of Winthrop University with a bachelor of science in government and public service, she currently resides in Rock Hill with her husband, Eric and son, Robert.

Price said Automated Shredding performs on-site shredding, setting them apart from most of the industry's competitors. "One of my greatest selling points for Automated Shredding is that clients can watch their confidential documents be destroyed on-site, ensuring safe disposal of information, then receive a Certificate of Destruction to keep for their records." She said they also recycle shredded documents. "After shredding, the paper is baled into 2,000 pound bales and sent to a paper mill for additional security, where they recycle it for new paper," she said. "Automated Shredding believes in recycling and protecting our environment."

Price also serves on the Crimestoppers of York County, Inc. Board of Directors and is a member of the Executive Associates of Charlotte, Business Network International, Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce, Charlotte Chamber of Commerce and York County Regional Chamber of Commerce. She attends Good Sheppard United Methodist Church in Charlotte.
