CriticalPoint™, in partnership with Baxa Corporation, Introduces Crosswalk Tool for Sterile Compounding Regulatory Requirements

Englewood, Colo. – Baxa Corporation announces the availability of a comprehensive new reference tool for understanding the compliance requirements for sterile compounding and USP 797 compliance. The interactive reference map was developed by ClinicalIQ, LLC, CriticalPoint, LLC and the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy®. The tool offers state-specific guidelines on professional licensing and training requirements, State Board of Pharmacy harmonization with USP 797 guidelines and sterile compounding laws.

According to Peter Cantor, CriticalPoint development lead, "This project was developed as a response to the need among pharmacy managers and other healthcare providers to understand the legal and professional requirements for sterile compounding and licensure. As a provider of continuing education and USP 797 compliance training for pharmacies, we wanted to take this opportunity to give something back to the compounding community.
