North Wales-based True Energy, one stop shop for renewable energy products and services, has established the most complete online interactive map of major renewable energy projects in the UK. This unique resource - http://www.renewables-map.co.uk - gives detailed background information about the ever-increasing number of projects being undertaken throughout the country.
True Energy has released this as free online resource and will be expanding the volume of information available over the coming months.
"This is the most up-to-date and precise set of data of its kind in the UK," confirms Phil McVan, True Energy managing director. "As the interest in renewables is growing so quickly in Britain, there is a demand for a comprehensive information service such as the True Energy site map."
"The system also includes a simple option for site owners and managers to comment and add further information," he adds.
True Energy actively supports the introduction of low and zero emission energy sources to combat the impact of global climate change.
"Britain, as part of a global effort, needs to reduce its reliance on carbon emitting energy generation," explains Mr McVan. "Our interactive map gives businesses and individuals clear guidelines as to whatÕs available, and the kind of projects that are being installed on a diverse range of sites."
True Energy has supplied renewable energy solutions to B&Q and South West Water, and has developed flourishing export markets in Africa, the Indian subcontinent, Latin America, the Middle East and Europe, and counts the World Health Organisation and the United Nations among its clients.
True Energy's renewable technologies include wind turbines, solar photovoltaic (electricity), solar thermal (hot water), biomass, and ground source heat pumps (hot water).
