Dutch NGO SOMO launches a totally new trilingual website

The new site offers a more complete English version and an entirely new Spanish version, in order to reach more organizations and individuals who take an interest in the workings of multinational enterprises, international trade and investment agreements and monitoring and verification initiatives worldwide.

SOMO (Centre for Research on Multinational Corporations) is a Dutch research and advisory bureau that, since 1973, has been investigating the consequences of corporate policies of Multinational Enterprises (MNEs) and the consequences of the internationalization of business for developing countries in particular.

SOMO's field of expertise includes international guidelines, international treaties, and codes of conduct for MNEs, and the implementation of these norms in practice. SOMO specializes in research on labor conditions in developing countries, in cooperation with local organizations and labor unions.
