FiveHumans Honors National Autism Month

Seattle, Washington., - April 3, 2008 – FiveHumans™, a company with the self appointed task of curing ignorance through clothing, adds Autism as their latest supportive crusade. FiveHumans™ is a new company with the mission to raise awareness on a variety of causes affecting Humans. Aside from influencing thought, and educating minds, FiveHumans™ is committed to raising money for their partnered not-for-profit organizations.
In support of National Autism Month, FiveHumans™ has designed a one-of-a-kind t-shirt focusing on the heavy stats surrounding this disease.
With no known cause, or cure, Autism has quickly become an epidemic in the United States. 1 in 150 young Humans are diagnosed, which is more than children diagnosed with Cancer, Diabetes, and Aids combined.
FiveHumans™ has chosen to partner with Autism Speaks®, which is now the nation's leading non-profit organization devoted to autism. The goal of Autism Speaks is to change the future for all who struggle with autism spectrum disorders. They are committed to raising the funds necessary to support these goals, and we intend for FiveHumans™ and our friends to be a big part of this effort.
In addition, FiveHumans™ is introducing a new feature to their site called, “My Story”. Beginning today, visitors to FiveHumans.com can share their stories first hand with other Humans about how a particular cause has affected their world. Their first My Story showcase, in support of Autism Awareness Month, is a powerful story of a devoted mother of two and her seven year old son who was diagnosed with autism when he was two years old.
