Kent, Wash. (31 July 2005) - As fall approaches, Washington Shoe Company has learned that a little rain goes a long way. With over 100 years under our belt in the work boot industry, our company decided to put a new spin on the rain boot segment. Western Chief Kids strategically created its own popularity; turning rubber boots into a novelty rather than a necessity. Using big eyes and fanciful themes, functionality was brought to life and the characters quickly multiplied from one lone frog to an entire character family.

Today, the company is taking an even greater leap; realizing that shoes are no longer the line’s main priority. By capitalizing on our natural surroundings, Washington Shoe Company has given accessorizing a new name. We now offer an entire raingear line that meets the ever-growing demand of children and mothers everywhere.
