ANTONIO BERARDI SIGNS FIRST U.S. DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT

The 120 piece women’s collection will be in the U.S. beginning August 3rd. Founded in 2003 by Niccolo’ Carpani Glisenti, the 3,750 square foot showroom specializes in high-end emerging designer collections, such as Harmon by Andrew Harmon and Suzanne Simon. The showroom is located at 499 Seventh Avenue at 37th Street in Manhattan, NYC.

Since 2002 Berardi has produced the collection through a licensing deal with Gibo, the Italian manufacturer that produces collections such as Michael Kors and Paul Smith. Berardi recently announced that he would present the Spring –Summer 2006 collection in Paris, rather than Milan, where he has been showing since 1999.

ANTONIO BERARDI will continue to be distributed by L.A. Distribuzione, the showroom taking care of world-wide distribution with the exception of the U.S. and Japan.
