Fullscope Passes the 100 Customer Mark for Process Industries for Microsoft Dynamics AX Customers
March 11, 2008 (PRLEAP.COM) Technology News
Fullscope, Inc., a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and one of the initial participants in the Microsoft Industry Builder initiative, today confirmed there are over 120 Process Industries for Microsoft Dynamics AX worldwide customers. International sales experienced the highest growth rates in 2007, and similar results are projected for 2008. As a result, Fullscope plans to establish offices during 2008 in France, Germany and The Netherlands to better serve the Microsoft European and Middle Eastern reseller community with sales and marketing support, and to provide world-class services to its existing international customers. The Microsoft Dynamics AX solution is Microsoft’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) system for midsize and larger businesses. Under the Industry Builder initiative, Fullscope develops manufacturing and distribution modules for companies in the food and beverage, chemicals, life sciences, pharmaceutical, paper and metals industries. The Process modules are certified and supported by Microsoft and are available worldwide to Microsoft Dynamics AX industry partners from the Microsoft price list. Fullscope assists in training and enabling the worldwide reseller channel.
“Process Industries for Microsoft Dynamics AX has been on the market for just over 24 months, and we are delighted to have surpassed the 100-customer level so quickly,” said John Scandar, executive vice president and co-founder of Fullscope. “This rapid adoption of Process Industries by manufacturing companies worldwide illustrates that Microsoft has a proven, robust ERP system that delivers value, runs on a familiar platform, and implements quickly. Process manufacturers, as well as partners throughout the Microsoft ecosystem, have embraced this solution and driven its success.”
Since its debut on the Microsoft price list in November 2006, 122 companies have purchased Process Industries. Seventy-five percent of the sales of Process Industries for Microsoft Dynamics AX were sold by channel partners around the world. The number of Process Industries sales grew almost 100% percent from 2006 to 2007, with Latin America and Western Europe posting the highest growth figures. Sales were strong across all process manufacturing industries, with the food and beverage and life sciences market segments showing the greatest levels of activity.
“Microsoft is pleased to count Fullscope as a key industry partner in two roles: as one of our leading resellers of Microsoft Dynamics AX, and as a strategic player in equipping our worldwide resellers to better compete and win business for Process Industries for Microsoft Dynamics AX,” said Mogens Elsberg, general manager, Microsoft Dynamics ERP. “The ability to help us drive growth in the global process manufacturing market is a testament to Fullscope’s deep industry expertise, and such growth simultaneously helps validate the Microsoft value-added reseller model as an effective way to sell and support ERP solutions.”
In addition to its process initiatives, Fullscope sells licenses for Microsoft Dynamics AX to discrete manufacturing companies. Fullscope increased overall revenue growth by 30% in 2007, and had over 15 Microsoft Dynamics AX customers go live. These customers spanned a range of process and discrete manufacturing industries including biochemical, pharmaceutical, medical equipment, feed management, film distribution, meat processing and metal fabrication. In June the company received the 2007 Microsoft Dynamics AX Partner of the Year award.
