Free Monthly Teleclass on Improving Relationships
with the Important People in One’s Life

Coaching for Excellence is a new training, coaching and consulting business operating over the internet. This business offers a variety of innovative products and services designed to help people get along better and to improve a person’s life and self-esteem. They have teleclasses, one-hour telephone conference calls to learn about specific topics; e-courses, weekly email lessons designed to help a person work through particular issues at home; and group and individual coaching. Coaching is either done one-on-one or in small groups. A person phones in at the appointed time and speaks with a coach who assists with accomplishing relationship, self-development or life goals.

All services are based on Dr. William Glasser’s concepts of Choice Theory (CT). CT is a new psychology of personal freedom that places the responsibility for people’s lives and their happiness squarely on the shoulders where they belong—-on the individual. CT dictates that people can no longer say outside circumstances, other people or any host of other excuses make them act the way they do. CT teaches that people are responsible for the choices they make, and consequently for the state of their lives as they are today.

The good news is that once we accept that responsibility, Coaching for Excellence’s owner, Kim Olver, MS, LPC, NCC, RTC says that we can then go about the business of creating the life and the relationships we truly want and need. The approach is very empowering.

Ms. Olver says that because her business is new, she is just getting herself established and wants to quickly get her message out there. Therefore, Coaching for Excellence is offering a free teleclass called, “Relationships the Choice Theory Way.” She and her training partner, Sylvester Baugh, are both certified in Choice Theory and will be offering this free relationship enhancing teleclass on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 9 PM ET. These teleclasses will discuss relationships from a choice theory perspective and teach the information and skills that are needed to improve the state of people’s current relationships with their significant others, children, parents, siblings, neighbors, roommates, co-workers and supervisors—-virtually anyone of importance in their lives.

At the appointed time, a person dials the number, punches in the access code provided and is instantly connected to a conference telephone line with anywhere from two to thousands of people on the same call. The only cost to participants is their cost of a long distance phone call. This works out to $3.00 at $.05/minute for the one-hour call or nothing if a person uses the free minutes allotted with their cell phone.

The advantage of teleclasses is that people don’t have to speak if they don’t want to. They can hang up if the call doesn’t interest them. They can multitask while in the privacy of their own home. They don’t have to worry about what they are going to wear. And they don’t need driving directions!

During the calls, there will be time when everyone but the facilitators will be muted. This cuts down on any background noise and allows the speakers to present their message. After that, the phone lines will be opened up and participants can ask questions or make comments.
