Beverly Hills Orthodontist Introduces Six Month Power Braces to Practice

January 16, 2008 – LOS ANGELES AND SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA – Beverly Hills Orthodontist Dr. Atoosa Nikaeen recently introduced six month power braces to her practice. Six month power braces are an affordable way to properly align front teeth, whether the teeth are crowded together, overlapped or have spaces between them, Nikaeen said.

This technique is gentle, uses low force and most often is completed in six months. Some cases can be completed in fewer than six months, while more complicated cases can take slightly longer.

“Even with difficult cases, the treatment typically is completed within eight or nine months,” Nikaeen said.

Patients with the power braces usually see the orthodontist every 4 weeks for check-ups. They can be fitted with clear braces, which makes them less visible on the teeth.

About Dr. Atoosa Nikaeen
Dr. Nikaeen who is a Beverly Hills Orthodontist graduated with honors from dental school in 1993 and received a doctorate in dental surgery (DDS). She gained experience practicing general dentistry for several years before attending Columbia University School of Dentistry and Oral Surgeons in New York, where she earned her post-doctoral education in orthodontics and received an orthodontic specialty certificate.
