The auction received national coverage by Yahoo News and Adweek Magazine. In both articles, Owens says he's just "brainstorming cost effective, out-of-the-box ways to market.

“Unlike major best-selling authors, I don’t have a multi-million dollar marketing budget,” Owens wrote in his auction listing.

Owens is confident people will take advantage of his publishing company's offer. "I suspect copies will go fast. Book buyers are savvy. They know a good deal with they see one," he commented. Anyone can read three entire chapters before purchasing "A Dream Come True".
