SIA Group’s New Bern Office Participates In The Salvation Army’s Adopt A Family Program
December 24, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
RALEIGH, N.C. – Don Mills, president of SIA Group (www.siagroup.net), a full-service insurance agency with six offices throughout North Carolina, has announced that the firm’s New Bern office, SIA-Stallings Insurance, is participating in The Salvation Army’s Adopt A Family program. In lieu of exchanging gifts, the office decided to adopt a family who is less fortunate and unable to provide gifts to their children in honor of Judy Zocco, a New Bern office employee who suddenly passed away on Nov. 29. Zocco was with SIA-Stallings for 14 years and is survived by her husband, Pete, her son, Chris, brother, Chet, and mother, Patricia. The family that the office is sponsoring consists of a single mother with a 9-year-old daughter and a 2-year-old son. SIA-Stallings will provide Christmas presents for the children. The Salvation Army is an evangelical organization dedicated to assisting those in need throughout the community. “We are proud to announce that the New Bern office is participating in The Salvation Army’s Adopt A Family program,” said Mills. “Judy gave of herself unconditionally and loved children, so SIA-Stallings could not think of a better way to honor her memory.”
