Downtown Naples Comes Alive with a Collection of 300 Artists Along Fifth Avenue South New Year’s Weekend

Naples, Florida – The Downtown Naples Association and Naples Chamber of Commerce will celebrate the 12th Annual Downtown Naples New Year’s Weekend Art Fair December 29 & 30, 2007 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Fifth Avenue South from 9th street down to 3rd street will be transformed into a living and breathing art gallery that will be open to the public free of charge.

In addition to the annual fine art street gallery, patrons will enjoy fine food and the musical styling of artists such as jazz sensation Jean Sidwell.

One thousand talented artists have vied for 300 coveted spots. The collection is comprised of over $15 million worth of fine art to provide downtown Naples with creative works ranging from $15.00 pieces of jewelry to life-size organic art sculptures in excess of $50,000.00 that will cater to every budget and taste.

This year’s “New Year’s Weekend Naples Art Fair” boasts some of the country’s most famous works of art from artisans such as Frederick Prescott. His larger than life creations have been commissioned by some of Hollywood’s “A-listers.”

The show will include over 300 exhibition displays of individual art galleries while providing a personal experience. Like all festivals by Howard Alan Events, Downtown Naples will offer visitors the unique opportunity to meet exhibiting artists in person; commission a specific piece; ask questions about techniques; learn the sources of their inspirations; and purchase fine works of art at affordable prices.
