Extraordinary American Accomplishments Profiled in New Book Series for Students in Grades 6-12

Walch Publishing has issued the first major revision of its popular series for grades 6–12, 16 Extraordinary Americans. The eight books in the series introduce young readers to the achievements of Americans who have changed and influenced history.

Each of the books in the 16 Extraordinary Americans series builds reading comprehension skills and introduces influential contemporary and historical figures in an accessible, fun-to-read format. The books grab students’ interest through brief, engaging stories that are easy to read. Each book also includes discussion questions, background notes, vocabulary lists, and references.
