Channel Intelligence Appoints Ron Sparks to Vice President of SellCast Development

In his new role at CI, Sparks will drive ongoing development of the technology powering the company’s SellCast™ Retailer Solutions, a suite of innovative data feed management and optimization services enabling retailers to improve data quality and effectively manage online marketing programs.“SellCast leverages state-of-the-art technologies to optimize, syndicate, and service leading retail brands into various online channels,” says Sparks. “I look forward to leveraging my experience while providing guidance to our development teams to ensure we continue to drive the growth, innovation, and revenue of the SellCast product line.”

Sparks joined Channel Intelligence in June 2006 as Program Manager for the Client Engineering team, an agile development team dedicated to extending the CI product suite to meet specific client requirements. He has been architecting, designing, and developing cutting-edge software solutions for 17 years and his extensive experience architecting secure applications for the banking and ecommerce industries made him the natural candidate to head up the CI Marketplace Integration Team in June of 2007, where he was responsible for creating the program to connect CI clients with online marketplace portals such as Amazon.com and SHOP.COM.
