Tocquigny Hires Four Employees For Positions Spanning The Agency

AUSTIN – December 10, 2007 – Tocquigny (http://www.tocquigny.com), a leading marketing firm specializing in leveraging emerging technologies to create winning business solutions, today announced the addition of managers Marcos Hernandez and Brooke Friedman, and associates Britt Davis and Courtney Weisman to support the ever-expanding agency.

As Flash manager, Hernandez is focused on the interactive and programming side of flash development. He brings five years of experience with companies including redGizmo, Altair Technology and UTSA Distance Learning.

Friedman, manager of media services, comes to Tocquigny from Kolar Advertising in Austin and Initiative Media, a subsidiary of Interpublic Group in Atlanta. She has previously worked on the Subway, Dell, 3M, and The Home Depot accounts. At Tocquigny, Friedman develops media strategy and tactics for campaigns from inception to completion for clients, including Regent University.

Weisman is in the research and planning department where she focuses on target audience concept testing and validation, as well as in depth studies that gauge customer interest levels and competitive analysis. Her background includes work as a copywriter and brand planner for agencies including J. Walter Thompson.

Davis, an accounting associate, handles the agency’s accounts billable and receivable and other financial transactions. She has previous accounting experience with the Austin Child Guidance Center after graduating from the University of Texas Austin with a B.A. in Economics.
